The key location of  Maritsa Municipality is due to the fact that many major auto and railway transport roads with national importance and three international transport "corridors"   pass trought its territory.

A section of the Thrace motorway passes across the territory of the municipality. AM Thrace provides for fast transport access of the production to the international "corridors" and markets. Evidence for this is that there have already been formed several industrial zones situated along the villages Benkovski – Radinovo, Rogosh - Skutare, and along the roads Tsaratsovo - Plovdiv, Plovdiv - Trud, Plovdiv - Voyvodinovo.
